Mamai was a conceptual project that I developed during my trainee program at FLOT, a design studio located in Yamagata, Tohoku, Japan. The project's brief was to create a fictional brand for a traditional Brazilian food that will be marketed in Japan. The main goal was to introduce Brazilian cuisine to Japanese customers. For this project, I decided to use the traditional rice and beans which is consumed by Brazilians on daily basis.
